Our story
gm3 started in early 2022 as a one man mission to mitigate risk for retail and institutional investors in the web3 and digital asset spaces. I was frustrated with the lack of professionalism (and in some cases, basic human decency) by a lot of so-called “entrepreneurs”, whose mission was maximum value extraction. These bad actors proliferated a largely negative experience, in both reality and perception, for many retail and institutional customers, leaving the curious, well-intentioned early creators’ work largely invisible.
As I started to dig deeper, it became clear this was just the tip of the iceberg. There were deep chasms in the core social and morals constructs that the space had been built on. Something must be done to protect the investor, while simultaneously highlighting the amazing successes and dedication of the true innovators, breaking boundaries.
In 2023, we scaled to a core group of true believers in risk mitigation across discovery, advisory, education, capital allocation and engineering.
