⌐◪-◪ → The Colorado Securities Commissioner is suing a pastor and his wife for issuing a cryptocurrency backed by God.Yes, you can't make this shit up.The couple scammed online church-goers out of $3.2M, claiming they were directed by God's command.Here's a video of the pastor defending himself. He even goes as far as to say the charges against him are valid, but that God himself told him that investors would become rich if they invested in INDXcoin.I wonder if God also ordered him to spend his $1.3M of profits on designer handbags, snowmobiles, home renovations, and luxury vacations. Oh wait, he did.
Nethermind pushes hotfix after client caused invalid blocks on Ethereum
⌐◪-◪ → 9% of Ethereum validators just went down, and nobody is talking about it. The root of the issue appears to be a bug with Nethermind, an Ethereum execution client.Their latest release had some unknown issues that led to missing attestations and blocks. Based on the participation rates, we can estimate that about 10% of the network uses Nethermind for block production.A fix for the issue has been released, so if you’re running a node, please update it.This is definitely a wakeup call for the Ethereum community and will surely spark discussions about the network's reliability versus its competition.
